Although the paint from a tube can be used for bright paint, the paint cracked and flaked off after drying, suggesting it may not be as economical as it first appeared look appears. I like dried paint that stays in place. On the plus side, the pigments are very light and last longer than I expected. They resemble acrylics more than watercolor. However, be aware that this dye will stain things and will not easily come off the fabric. When painted with these paints, they have a solid oily consistency. Lying nice. I would normally give four stars if it weren't for the cracking. Think carefully about how to store them on the palette, otherwise the dried watercolor paint will be scattered.
