I have a few rulers of all sizes. But the clear plastic ones are all printed in red, which is very hard for me to see. These new rulers have black writing and are easy to see. The combination of 6" and 12" gives me pretty much everything I need to measure. My only complaint (and that goes for most rulers) is that there isn't much room at each end. I would love to find these rulers with accurate measurements on the ends. I'm not sure why they don't.
