For a manual lens in an automated world - such works. When I use this lens, I take "special" photos, so I don't have problems with manual focus and exposure. And with other lenses, I never use manual settings. I love this lens for indoor or outdoor panoramas. Be careful when taking photos, and the lens correction settings in Lightroom will correct them enough that it's not just a gimmick.
