Review on Spectra Premium SU1B Fuel Subaru by Jim Reinhardt

Everything is fine, but there are problems. (1) Doesn't quite fit. There are 6 bolts holding it to the body of the car - I ended up screwing in 4 bolts, then I had to use a pry bar in the 5th hole to line up the 6th, tighten it, then start and tighten the #5 , then tighten everything else. (2) Hose barbs are not exactly the same size as the original. I had (a) trouble attaching some hoses as the barbs were slightly larger and (b) had to replace some of the clamps to adequately secure the other barbs as they were slightly smaller than the original tank. . I don't need the studs to mount the transmitter as they are snap bolts rather than custom studs which are difficult to start and I'm concerned they might loosen over time. Overall this is a decent tank but I would really have to consider buying an original factory tank if I needed to rebuild it.
