TL;DR: They sound fantastic, the only thing keeping them (for me) from being perfect is the lack of one better bluetooth codecs . , and some problems with the right earphone not charging in the case, maybe because of the quality. It's been great to see how quickly personal audio devices have improved over the past five years. With the release of Airpods in 2016, I was concerned that the wired market would stagnate as all innovation would take place in the wireless audio market. As an audiophile it was depressing π₯Ί. Luckily, the arrival of Chifi has breathed new life into the market. and never before has there been such a variety in all price ranges in all aspects of consumer audio! You're looking for an impressive amount of bass that just hits so well it doesn't. Soundcore Liberty 2 Pro is exactly what you need. They're great if like me you prefer a more balanced setup but still dynamic enough to bring the music to life and be fun to listen to because that's what they do. are. It is a pleasure to listen to jazz and classical music, the instruments have the right timbre and a dynamic sound. Acoustic guitar tracks like Billie Eilish's "Your Power" or Angus and Julia Stone's "Santa Monica Dream" sound so good, the guitar shines and has that wow factor that you get with hi-fi. The singing is also very well performed, The tuning gives it the space it needs to shine without being drowned out by too much bass. The soundstage is a bit small in my opinion, but not enough to give me a headache. I really enjoyed taking them with me everywhere because I knew I would love my music. They just didn't fit me and if I hadn't replaced the standard nibs with foam nibs this review would have been very different. It's also quite subjective, foam tips have always worked best for me, results may vary. I really wish they had LDAC π. The vibe is so good that it breaks my heart just knowing what a track is supposed to sound like, but I can hear some compression degradation. This also limits the purity of their sound. I believe the drivers are actually amazing, but they are only held back by the codec used. Sad life. Maybe it's just my device? I was having this weird issue with my device where the right earbud doesn't seem to be making proper contact with the two pins that are in the case that charge the earbuds, sometimes I have to take them out and reinsert them multiple times. Disconnect from my phone and charge it. Spot on, thought it might be tips at first, but there will be the same problem with original tips and no tip. Maybe it's just that my device was defective, but it works quite well, it just takes a little fiddling to make sure it's charging. I am too lazy, to go through the return procedure, so I hope it doesn't get worse in the future. Now I remove my earbuds, make sure they're charging, then just put them in the case and try to remember to be careful when opening the case so I don't lose my earbuds. Honestly, the sound is the most important thing to me, if something doesn't sound good I don't use it. I've had pretty good experiences with all other aspects of these earbuds, they've never died for me, so the battery capacity is adequate. It took me a while to get used to not touching the back of the headphones when adjusting, that's just me, but the touch controls work great and are very responsive. The volume up and down function works better than expected. I was concerned that the volume would change too quickly and I'd be caught trying to set the volume I wanted, but it works very well, there's about a second between each step anyway. By the way, it gets really, really loud when you stand on it. The build of everything seems solid, not super premium but for the price I'm not complaining. The case won't open, so it's something, but it's not a problem for me. Overall they sound fantastic, which is never on my list. 1, everything else works (except this one) so I'm a happy buyer. I've been an Edifier fan for a while, had a pair of their headphones years ago and enjoyed them, until they broke the RIP and were reintroduced to the brand via their amazing speakers. You really can't go wrong with these, they genuinely sound better than most headphones or TWS headphones at any price point. my happy customer.
