A custom monster!

To be clear, my company is an authorized TP-Link reseller and we can source them through our supply chain. Didn't want to mess with it and unless we order in bulk Revain has the lowest prices. I have installed them in warehouses, hotels, manufacturing plants and many companies. I haven't even set this thing up properly, and I'm getting a stronger signal from it in the basement than from the router directly above me (router on the ground floor, this WAP on the second floor, sitting on a table, pointing up). I'm waiting for the attic to get a little cooler so I can install this properly. I am using the TP-Link controller software on my computer. If there were more I would use the OC200 cloud controller but the software version will do. With AT&T 4G Internet, I have to limit my three teenagers to 1TB of data per month. I can have multiple wireless networks and limit download/upload speeds. I can hide my unregulated network and my home automation network so my kids can see regular WiFi. If they really download a lot, I can block access by device. Need 40GB Xbox updates? nope! clogged! Go and take this to your real dad's house which has good coax internet. It's not as basic as Wi-Fi Spectrum, where the password is on the back, but the features are amazing. I'm an IT pro, so updating firmware and adjusting settings is not a problem. Yes, it is intended for airports, hotels and companies. The price speaks for itself; However, if you're struggling with the Wi-Fi signal for a few hours, this thing is strong enough to have you covered.

Pros

Cons
  • Protection
