Review on High Power Car Defogger: Fast Heating & Cooling Fan for Windscreen Defogging and Warmth by Andrew Gomez

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Very quick to set up and attach, but requires effort to remove completely.

First I want to say that I have the large version and I have tried it in a 4-door sedan and an SUV. It doesn't match the sedan very well, but you can bend the corners to make it fit if you really want it. Although I wouldn't recommend it. That's great for an SUV. I was looking for a quick install windshield sunshade and this item turned out to be exactly what I wanted. To set it up, simply remove it from the case, rip off the Velcro, lower the grip, press down on the center, attach to your windshield and snap into place. It's like opening an umbrella. It fits quickly and easily onto the windshield and holds in place perfectly with the help of the sun visors. It blocks all sunlight meaning nothing gets through so the material is thick enough to work well but thin enough to act like an umbrella. The wedges are also well made and can flex a little while appearing flimsy. I haven't had any problems with them. But my main problem, which I haven't really thought of, is how to roll it up and put it away. Like an umbrella, press the small clip that holds it in place to fold it down, then fold the ends towards the center, wrap the velcro around and secure, then slide the handle up, to hold the slots in place. Then, if you want, slide the whole thing back into the case. I feel this process goes against the goal of even getting the product. With a traditional sun visor, you unfold it and mount it to the windshield, sometimes struggling to stay in place. But to remove it, all you have to do is fold it up and place it on the seat. This product rises quickly but requires some effort to put away. So if like me you're impatient, you can probably just fold it up, secure with velcro if you want, and put it somewhere. The effort seems impractical in my opinion, but it takes up significantly less space than a conventional sun visor. Of course you have the choice but I will continue to look for a superior sun visor that is quick to put on and take off.
