Some pros: 1. Confident and accurate position detection. Even in a wet forest in a jacket pocket. 2. Water protection (more than once he swam after me on a rope, falling out of the boat). 3. Black and white screen, everything is always visible, without pressing the buttons, without backlight. 4. Long work from 2 batteries (several days without turning off). 5. Reliable - I have been using it for many years, without failures. 6. Convenient connection with a computer through a simple USB cord, visible as a disk. 7. Yes, there are no handy cards. But I'm fine with waypoints (and the Route) prepared at home on a computer and uploaded to the device. On the route, I usually navigate faster than comrades with maps. Has cons: 1. Slows down for a couple of seconds when setting a new waypoint. 2. He doesn't need a joystick. It was better to get by with buttons, as in the old Etreks. Everyone writes from spontaneous pressing - I completely solved the problem by gluing a small piece of thick plastic with a drilled hole (see photo). 3. No cards. If something went wrong (and you don't need the waypoints that were made in advance), then everything is bad. But no one canceled the paper card.
