The lid needs to be lifted and moved to the ramp, it feels nice and light until you attach the crane arm and find it is interfering with the lid. seriously a big pain to work around the faucet. I would definitely return it if I see fit, but this item took too long to arrive (lost in the mail twice) and it seems horribly empty. Good. To update! I'm very sorry I didn't send it back. It's partially covered by the top of my deck, and yet somehow the lid is glued so tightly that it FILLS with water! What is the use of buying a sandbox with a lid if after 2 months the lid deforms so much that the box is filled with leaves and water?!?!? Untenable. Untenable. A piece of junk. Find something better!
