I've been snowboarding for 22 years and just discovered longboarding two weeks ago. I was frustrated that I couldn't stop/check when needed. After riding them for less than 1 hour I was able to disengage the clutch and check the speed/slip, just what I needed! I hope this helps anyone who wants to solve the same problem. I'm 105 pounds / ride a 40 inch longboard / red bearings / bear trucks.
