Review on Xiaomi Mi Air Purifier 3H CN Air Purifier, white by Aneta Ambroziak ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I like it, thanks for the quality product.

The main critique is that it actually does work. While the PM sensor in the air cleaner only measures what's happening around the device itself, so it's not very representative, the volume of pumped air is enough to clean the air in a room of 35 squares with almost four-meter ceilings (I measure it with an air quality sensor standing next to me; Atmotube PRO). At night (with the window closed), the PM2.5 concentration reached 80 g/m3 without Xiaomi, but it remains within 15 g/m3 with Xiaomi (the sensor on the nightstand measures +/- what I breathe). The third generation of devices is the most up-to-date; the 3C pumps 320 cubic meters of air per hour (appropriate for efficiently cleaning a very small room, like a nursery), and the 3H pumps 380 cubic meters of air per hour (suitable for effectively cleaning a larger room, like a conference room). The basic filter removes particles as small as PM1 (plus an activated carbon layer); the green (light green?) filter also has a catalytic layer that can trap formaldehyde and other volatile organic compounds; and the purple filter has all of these features plus an antibacterial and antiviral coating. Photo shows an authentic filter (see photo) with an RFID tag (tags verify authenticity and provide information about the filter's resource; when used with a non-native filter, the device curses but continues to function). Fakes are common, though, so be careful not to be caught (if the filter on AliExpress costs less than $20 USD, for example). In conclusion, I endorse this product because it is both effective and inexpensive when selected for the appropriate room size.

Pros
  • Air quality monitor close by confirmed that the purifier was effective throughout the entire room, not just in the immediate vicinity of the device; user-friendly interface; straightforward filter replacement procedure; filter expiration date reminders; sleek, unobtrusive design;
Cons
  • Mi Home has limited capabilities (no graphs showing how pollution has changed over time, etc.) and it is difficult to choose a suitable device from Xiaomi's extensive line of air purifiers (there are multiple generations and several models).

Its pros: The automatic mode is chic, the response speed is on top, there is a night mode, it works great with Station. Cons below: Fine dust from the construction site has become much less, we can say it is no more.
