I read several air filter reviews before purchasing this one. It fits very well in my 1999 Mercedes Benz SLK230 Roadster. I find that I went to YouTube and watched a few videos on how to install an air filter, there are 2 screws under the glove box and a fold down panel. You may find that, like I did when I removed this panel, you need a trip to the car wash to vacuum before proceeding. 20 years of leaves and dirt have severely clogged the filter, so before installing a new filter I used a commercial self-vacuum canister to vacuum the compartment. Once that was done I was able to install it very easily and replace the plate and screws. I immediately noticed a huge improvement in airflow! It's a great product, but it takes time to figure out how to install it before you plan your trip to the car wash or have a vacuum handy!
