Review on 🐵 Hooded Monkey Dog Sweater by Cheri Greene

Super sweater! Very well made and cute, but be sure to try one of the local Chilly Dogs or order from a place that offers free returns. They are usually very small (just in case, increase the size by one, and preferably by two). We have an 11lb pom pom/sheltie mix that ended up in the environment after we traded in a pair at a local store. It is very long and fluffy, so this must be taken into account. I bought this extra large sweater for our 31 lb, 9 month old Whippet Lab mix. He tends to be large and broad chested for his size (IOW - easily confused with a 40+ pound dog) and is getting a bit taller so I made him even more larger than I thought would fit him. It sits on him very well and will still look great even if he gains 5-10 pounds. Since they don't have sleeves and are cut very high at the bottom (perfect for men), you can't go wrong with a slightly larger sweater. Otherwise this is a great sweater. Beautiful, soft and thick. Be sure to wash it cold and gentle (if not by hand) as the red will likely bleed. The sweatshirt is adorable and Chilly Dogs is probably the only pet clothing I've had that actually has sweatshirts that stay on the dogs' heads. It is also very convenient for our dogs. The stitching is nice and thin (although still sewn well) and the wool doesn't even scratch me (I'm a bit sensitive to wool). This one has a cute design. Definitely a must for any monkey or sock monkey fan. A nice handy way to take silly dog photos that are shot well enough to be helpful and enjoyable for a dog on a walk in a cold winter.
