Gives a nice tactile buzz to the front seat backs of my Honda Accord! Didn't want to sacrifice space for an extra box so I'm glad I got the chance after seeing the positive reviews. I then run 90 watts into a 2 ohm load from my amp in parallel with the rear speakers. It didn't come with instructions, but I found them online. The recommended mounting location for the car is on the floor under the seats, but the new Accords have 2-inch foam under the carpet that really dampens the vibrations there. The seat back padding came off easily and I used tie wire to secure it. I'm happy with the results in combination with my 6.5" front center components and Polk rear wheels. Update: I ended up removing those shakers and giving up the trunk space for a conventional sealed 12" add-on box rated at around 400 watts RMS and am very happy now. seems more musical. I would have no hesitation in buying them again for something like a home theater or gaming chair where I would like to listen at a lower volume without disturbing people in other rooms around me.
