Well, for starters. It caught fire and began to melt. So currently I already have a controller on my PC with 3 120mm and 2 140mm TT RGB PREMIUM fans on a single Molex chain connected to a 1000W Corsair PSU. I decided to link these controllers together and connect them to the same Molex chain, I mean I have two free Molex connectors so why not. I don't want to add any more ports to the PC. So I start the computer and see ONE LED strip light up. After about 20 seconds I noticed a faint smell of burnt plastic and thought what the heck could that be. I looked at the new fan controller and the power connector is SMOKING and melting the plastic on the connector. Wow, a $3500 PC just started smoking from the fan controller. So I have a few other controllers so I try the second Molex cable that came with the LED strips and oh yeah. Two contacts emerged. So I put them back, pocket everything and everything starts smoking again. In the end I may have decided not to connect to an already installed Molex circuit. I don't know if the light works, I don't know if the bridge between the controllers works, I don't know if any of this works because it started smoking and melting. I don't know if my power supply is damaged. I don't know anything other than for the first time in almost 20 years of working with a PC, this is the first time I've almost caught fire with something as simple as a little fan controller.
