Review on Dorman 911-099 Vapor Canister Vent Solenoid for Chevrolet and GMC Models - Enhance Engine Searchability by Jim Reinhardt

Well the check engine has failed. It's bigger than the original but still fits. Alignment and removal of the hoses from the installation should have taken about 10 minutes. The electrical connection from my 2014 Sierra wire harness did not match. I went to 4 auto parts stores and couldn't find a suitable one. So I cut off the connector from both. Used butt joints. Sealed well with tape and used a protective tube. It worked with the modification, but I didn't have to cut anything! Didn't fit right on my truck. So 3 stars.
