Have you ever had one of those products that made you love/hate? This is my experience with this product over the past three and a half years. As many others have posted here, the product works great. until he gives up the ghost. Philips replaced him in each case. You can expect 3 to 6 weeks before seeing a replacement. I've gone through at least nine of them. I've always been hopelessly optimistic that their engineering team will take some of the dead returns and figure out why they don't hold up. It is Philips policy to replace the device before the original warranty expires. My current Airfloss is the third replacement for my third newly purchased one (see previous comment on hopeless optimism). With every new purchase I have gone through at least three replacement cycles. I was finally bored. I don't mind the long replacement cycle and I've definitely shed my hopeless optimism. I also have their Sonicare toothbrush. It was very reliable and a factor in my optimism mentioned above. Unfortunately, the Sonicare quality didn't find its way into the Airfloss.
