it works great most of the time but I found the area it would be attached to had to be completely clean. I also found that the rubber pin on the bottom of this lock should be cleaned with alcohol or window cleaner before use. if this is not done, it stays for a while. maybe 30 minutes or an hour, but then your car hits a bump in the road or you take a corner too fast and it comes off. The inside of the windshield works best but is too clean. no smoke. no residue. and the area is cleaned with window cleaner and then alcohol. Now it stays indefinitely, but removing it can also be an issue. great if it works.
