I used it on a hike in the mountains. It kept me warm on the hike and all night. As a bonus, it's lightweight and takes up very little space in your backpack. When I put it on my nose it stayed in place and was loose and comfortable when I wore it loosely around my neck. I'm a big TrailHeads fan, I've owned a few of their products and haven't been disappointed.
