Failed to load media. This staple remover has two different pins, one with a hole and the other with a slot. Place the side with the hole on the narrow side of the yoke. It holds the clip securely while you squeeze the clip. This tool works well with small clamps. The round hole side of the tool is not large enough for large clamps. I uploaded a video showing that the tool could not fully compress the radiator hose clamp making it difficult to move the clamp up the hose. I had no problems with the smaller clamps. The unlocking mechanism is clumsy. You will find it difficult to use it with one hand. As the name suggests, this tool isn't perfect, but it works well enough to have a place in my toolbox.
