In general, this speaker does the job. I needed something louder and more bass than my little OontZ Angle 3 speaker. W-King does it. And I like that there is a strap. I can wear it when I ride a bike. However, I have a few complaints. The first is secondary, the second is primary. My first problem is the equalizer. There's no indicator to let you know if it's on and what mode you're in. The manual does not say how many modes there are. So all you have to do is use your ear until it sounds good to you. I hit the equalizer button a few times when trying to press the volume button and had to spend time with my ear to see which setting I liked best. There's also no consensus on how many EQ modes there are, as the manual doesn't specify. I think there are 3 of them, like many others. But many other people say that there are only 2 settings: on and off. The equalizer LED display helps with all of this. The second issue is my biggest concern, the W-King speaker beeps to indicate the battery is 20% low. Your music will stop, it will chirp and continue your music EVERY 60 SECONDS continuously. The chirping continues even after you plug in your device. This is SUPER annoying. At 20% there should be a much less intrusive alarm. How blue, how red. Or a twitter every 15 minutes. If you chirp every minute for only 20%, you can only really enjoy 80% of the battery. Again, the speakers are good overall. You won't find better quality for this price. You'll have to play around with the equalizer button and settings on your phone to get good bass without being too muddy.
