This kit WORKS. in Printer Parts & Supplies

I don't usually write Revain reviews, but this cleaning kit just WORKS right out of the box. I took a picture to show you; The left shot is what my Canon Pixma MG7720 output as a test page before using the kit and the right shot is after. From full cyan and magenta to muddy grays to 100% perfect for all colors. I was about to print a photo when I noticed this. Like many of you, I don't print much anymore, and apparently this can often cause ink clogs in inkjet printers if left unused for a long time. When I saw the test page, I was ready to buy a new printer. But I'm a new homeowner so I needed to get familiar with DIY so I googled what to do. Some websites suggested cleaning the printhead manually. I tried this first with a regular syringe I had at home and used a 4:1 ratio of Vindex/alcohol. It was better; it turned half blue and gray, but still not magenta. So I broke down and bought this kit to see if a custom syringe would work. The good thing about this set is the syringe and nozzles. They fit snugly onto the printhead and create the correct suction force your cleaning solution needs to penetrate the blocked ink and exit the actual part of the printhead that is printing. I knew right away this would work much better when I saw that the underside of the printhead was cleaner. Note that on the Canon Pixma MG7720 you can very easily remove the print head and do all this work alongside the tissue sync instead of trying to do it 'in the printer' as shown in the manual. Don't do this if you don't have to. Anyway, cleaning solution, I'm not sure, I think it's a batch of Vindex and maybe some medicinal alcohol (a 4:1 ratio or even no alcohol might work well), but for proper suction, this kit was one A lot of money worth more money for either a new print head or a whole new printer.
