So. My new little kitty loves to chew strings. I used it and he lost interest. He tried chewing a few times but gave up after a few seconds. It doesn't interfere with my computer cables. Disconnecting the cable helped, but the protector is very stiff so it was difficult to keep the slot open to insert the cable. But because he was so tough, my cat lost interest in him. This is a compromise. My life is a little bit easier knowing my connection cords and power cords are safe. Thanks very much!
