Does exactly what I need. In this case I used this to hide the old phone jack hole after removing the bezel. Unfortunately the glue doesn't stick that well, but to be honest the surface it's used on isn't quite flat. Another thing I noticed was that a lot of people complained about the glue and accidentally peeled it off, so I compensated for that in the back of my mind and made what was actually quite easy to do more difficult. Start plucking at the corner, if you peel it off and it's papery instead of sticky, you may not have scraped it deep enough to actually peel off the top paper. Obviously you don't want to rip the bases off the cover lol. Very happy with this purchase
