Pros: Reasonable price and soft material made it easy for us to pack our luggage of different sizes. Straps were attached. Cons: Only survived 2 round trips. It doesn't stick well to the roof of the car. We had to lay out a rubber mat to help with this. I do not recommend using with crossbars. The extra straps just didn't fit properly and we had to tighten them every pit stop. We had to add bungee cords to get a tight fit. This would work better when used with a roof rack, mesh netting may even be needed. (But then it would defeat the point of acquiring such a simple bag). It might even help him last longer.
