bought this because I made another 1 inch mistake trying to read my regular tape measure upside down when measuring from the right. The pencil sharpener is good, but I usually use carpenter's pencils, at least now I always know where the regular sharpener is. But two of my favorite features weren't listed. Aside from having the usual retractable tape release button in the usual thumb-friendly place at the top front corner, there is also a brake button on the bottom (!!! ! ) which comes in very handy, for example, to slow down with the tape pulled out catch something remotely Belt clip is like a clothespin with a pull tab at the top to open, so it's really easy for me to clip the band to my belt or tool bag rather than catching and deploying the classic spring clip in the same places. "2 and 1/4 plus", or a person like "6 and 5/16 minus" a person who often works in 1/32, this is a loaded volume, a lot of printing, I hope I get used to it. Second, I've often noticed that I tend to take this tape backwards. That doesn't happen with my old band, my hand always knows its orientation. Again, I hope I get used to it. However, I love it when the markings go both ways and wish I had bought this tape years ago! Will most likely buy another one to keep on the saw where I almost always measure to the right. Thanks to the design team for a great product! All that remains now is not to lose.
