I chose like new because I've done this before and I got great quality of materials. When it arrived in the Amazon Prime bubble wrap outer packaging it was untouched. Inside, however, the cable packaging was torn and dirty, like it had been run over by a lawn mower, and the USB sides of both were flattened. It looked like some of them were melted, others were scratched and some of the plastic was cracked. There was a sticker that said "Quality Tested at Amazon Warehouse" so I was very disappointed.
