Longan Craft watercolor brush pens were pleasantly surprised to see how interesting they are to use. I really enjoyed it more than I expected. The set comes in a box with 2 removable pen trays and a small pack of 8 sheets of watercolor paper. Colored pens fit tightly in their trays, empty pens dangle in one section. There's no color scheme, which is disappointing. None of the watercolor pencils have a color indication. There is a colored plastic indicator at the end of each pin to give you a general idea of the color inside. The handles are in no particular order. I could not find any data on the safety or harmlessness of pen materials. The only safety information is that it is not suitable for children under 3 years old due to small parts. The lack of support and safety information is why this product didn't get a 5 star rating from me. The performance of the pens is much better than I expected based on the packaging. I found no leaks, each pen was ready to use without my intervention. I found all the colors to be vibrant except for the neon yellow which is incredibly pale when dried. Each color is truly transparent. Dried inks will bloom well if the paper is rewetted without lifting. They blend as well as I expected, although it takes a bit of work on my part. I found the pigments had no visible traces of heavy binders. Empty pens can be filled with water (I highly recommend using distilled water) or any other liquid medium and used at will. Warning, they are "back" threaded so twist them in the opposite direction than you would expect to open them. Some give off more water than others, the quality is a bit lame. I cannot comment on the coverage to be expected from these pens, it needs updating if it turns out to be less than what I find acceptable. However, for the ease of use, versatility, novelty and vibrancy of the colors, I consider this to be very good value for money.
