I wanted a shoe with better traction, a wider width, less weight on the arch, and support for overpronation. This shoe excelled on a 5k trail with more than 400 feet of climbs and descents. all on wet leaves.
Pros
Great for hiking. Big trends cling to steep gravel and rock trails
Cons
I thought trail shoes would be durable and take a beating. My son couldn't last 2 months walking around campus and exercising.
