I originally bought these brewer's yeast flakes to try out a dog treat recipe and they were absolutely perfect for it. I tried this granola straight off the spoon and liked the taste, but of course without the liquid right off the spoon it's a bit dry. I have already reordered the product because I used it so much that I emptied the tub pretty quickly. I've always loved the taste of brewer's yeast and I also use this flake for portioning special treats for my furry kids, which we also eat by the way, in yogurt, over food and in liquids/drinks. I think that over time you can see the beneficial effects of brewer's yeast on hair and skin. Of course, as with all products, whether natural or chemical, people will get different results over time. I don't expect miracles, but I know the effect of taking it in tablet form over the past few years. I know that the second order will not be my last if the quality remains the same. Update 12/22/2017: I've been making dog treats with this brewer's yeast and coconut oil for a while (see photo) and they always turn out fantastic. My husband and I still eat them because aside from making pet molds out of them, I would use a different mold for us humans. But why bother. I still highly recommend this product, especially since it's non-GMO!
