Can't comment on that other than that it works with my Audio Technica M40 studio headphones. I didn't know I bought studio headphones and they won't work with one iPod out of the box (yes it's silly but I'm new to this kind of headphones) The ONLY reason I gave them four stars is because I could bend them pretty easily.To go to the toilet , my iPod turned one way and the connector the other way so now it's bent I'm buying another one because I'm afraid it might break in a second iPod or my Macbook and I don't think it would be fun would do to try it I think because it's so big and the headphone jacks are already big it can produce more power if I want to bend it on purpose In other words it's going to be pretty easy ie Be careful about bending the plug if you're not. But my little misfortune aside, I'd recommend you do it.
