Terrible design Explain

Despite all the negative reviews on this product it was the only one on Amazon so I bought it. From the moment I plugged it in I had problems. 1. The 6.3 part is too big and not ground properly. So when you plug in the headphones, it doesn't create that electrical seal, so the sound can't fully pass through. 2. Head 3.5 is weak and when connected to iPod, iPhone or computer. Etc. It shakes, and if you move a little, you hear audio glitches, glitches, and part of the headphones don't work. 3…

Works even though I bent it :'(

Can't comment on that other than that it works with my Audio Technica M40 studio headphones. I didn't know I bought studio headphones and they won't work with one iPod out of the box (yes it's silly but I'm new to this kind of headphones) The ONLY reason I gave them four stars is because I could bend them pretty easily. To go to the toilet , my iPod turned one way and the connector the other way so now it's bent I'm buying another one because I'm afraid it might break in a second iPod or my…

This product would be 100% perfect for an integrated connection between a 1/4" cable and a 3.5mm cable. I bought this to fit my cans to adapt to 1/4" 3.5mm jack. The problem with this is that the weight of the cable and the adapter itself is borne entirely by the 3.5mm plug when it is plugged into the socket. This works fine for a while, but eventually the connector will bend and break. If you're trying to fit a 1/4" plug into a 3.5mm plug, I highly recommend purchasing a flexible adapter. end,

Poor design fits AV accessories

I bought this adapter about 4 months ago to fit a set of Audio Technica headphones I bought. It fitted well with the headphone jack and although it was a little heavy the connection fitted my computer perfectly. The sound quality was good and aesthetically pleasing as the design of the adapter matched my headphone jack perfectly. I was happy with my purchase until a few days ago, to my surprise, it fell off! It was the farthest end that was inserted into the computer. I'm lucky it fell on my…

It's quite heavy for audio and video accessories

I bought it to use with an Audio-Technica ATH-M40FS. This is a heavy duty extension cable that looks good but adds a lot of weight to the jack input. If you have a device where the bushing isn't installed well, appears to be loose, or could break if too much pressure is applied to it, I would go to a lighter weight extension. Otherwise it works fine but for the mic I used it pushed too hard on the jack, I found a lighter one in my desk drawer and used this one instead. It was too hard. You also

Metal and plastic for audio and video accessories

I've noticed that previous reviews of the metal version have been generally positive, while reviews of the plastic model have been mostly negative. was from a third party made by Revain because it was the cheapest and fastest option. I noticed that Revain also sells this part direct so I ordered it direct from Revain to minimize the chance of getting a plastic part. It was in stock at Revain when I ordered, although it cost about $0.20 more. The part I ended up getting was the metal version. Of

It's quite heavy

I bought it to use with the Audio-Technica ATH-M40FS. however, adds significant weight to the socket entry. If you have a device where the bushing isn't installed well, seems loose, or could snap if you put too much pressure on it, I'd go for a lighter weight extension.
