This product would be 100% perfect for an integrated connection between a 1/4" cable and a 3.5mm cable. I bought this to fit my cans to adapt to 1/4" 3.5mm jack. The problem with this is that the weight of the cable and the adapter itself is borne entirely by the 3.5mm plug when it is plugged into the socket. This works fine for a while, but eventually the connector will bend and break. If you're trying to fit a 1/4" plug into a 3.5mm plug, I highly recommend purchasing a flexible adapter. end, a few inches of wire, and then a connector. You will be much, much happier in the long run. Recommended for anyone trying to find a decent built in adapter. NOT recommended for anyone trying to connect 1/4". Headphones into the 3.5mm jack on something like iPhone or PC.
