Variable quality

As a hobby artist, I was delighted with my first order of these markers as they gave my work a beautiful shine. With the original set they wrote and drew smoothly, they were so much fun to use and I used them so often that when I got a gift card for Christmas I decided to order a second set. The second set was a big disappointment. This review shows two purple markers, the top one from the original order and the bottom one from the backorder. I used the reorder option from my Revain order history and assumed they would send me the same markers. When I started using the new set, the purple, white, and pink markings were dry. It's like leaving them open long enough to dry, but they arrived fully sealed and in a plastic holder with a locking feature to keep everything together. There's no reason they could dry out before delivery if they weren't packaged and shipped that way. Looking at the original and new markers I saw that they have different manufacturers or badges and the numeric codes are slightly different. I want to return a second set due to unusable wilted pens and may need to reconsider a new brand or risk a new order. For those who want to try these markers, be careful not to press too hard when using them or the tips will split and bend and stop flowing well. The second photo I included in this review shows a simple drawing made with the first set, for those looking for a link to how the colors look on paper.

Pros
  • TIPS AND HINTS. Please note that the white pencil needs 2-3 seconds to develop its color, the white line is applied transparently and becomes opaque after drying.
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
