Earlier this year my Indian Ringneck ripped most of his feathers out of his neck and chest. I removed his cage and continued plucking for a few more months. I work a lot with my birds trying to find the best toys and food for them. I ended up swapping out some toys and adding new ones and her feathers have since grown back. However, at the time I was reading a story on the internet about someone whose ringneck stopped plucking by planting a grapevine bass in his cage. I got her and I'm glad there are 2 because she really likes the first one. .I wouldn't have thought of trying it if I hadn't read this post sooner but I'm glad I found it. I definitely recommend trying it.
