These aquarium decorations are good for the price but NOT recommended for betta fish! As you can see, their sharpness hurt our poor little Fiji's fins! We will replace them with live plants which are much better for the rooster and they love them more especially java ferns, anubias and bacopa monnieri which he loves! The reason I put them there was because petsmart hasn't (had) had a lot of choices lately! I'm sure they do sometimes, but not lately. Also, they're great for other fish that don't like to hide or roost on top of them, like bettas!
