I really like the design of this meat injector. It's durable design and easy to use. The draw is tight and I don't have any leaks when the keg is full. This is scientifically inaccurate in terms of displayed capacity. I believe it's a few milliliters, but don't worry if you're just using it for cooking and don't need an exact measure. This is enough to measure the approximate volume of liquid, how much to use, and how much to prepare. Filling the syringe by repeatedly filling and emptying the marinade minimizes the formation of air bubbles and allows for a complete filling. The seals are made of high quality silicone and appear to be durable. The syringe can be completely dismantled for easy cleaning. The transparent display window is made of plastic, not glass as hoped. The upper part of the handle where the thumb is placed and the bars where the fingers are placed are also made of plastic. I suspect a stainless steel, glass and silicone unit would be significantly more expensive. However, it is durable and should last a long time with regular use. I like different needle options for different applications. This makes this injector kit very complete. They are very strong and durable and are difficult to bend or break. They are very easy to put on and take off as they have a ridged bottom that is easy to grab even with greasy fingers. Each syringe also comes with a protective plastic tip for safer and cleaner storage. The included pouch is great for keeping everything together and safe. In addition to the included printed manual, there is also plenty of supporting documentation online. Five stars.
