Ice cubes are so small that it takes at least 2, if not 3, to make a standard sized cube. This will melt the cubes faster and dilute your drink as the surface area for quick melting is greater than the amount of ice required (4-6 cubes are needed instead of the standard 2-3 regular sized cubes). The lids are also quite flimsy and don't seem to stand up to daily removal. The covers are also a little tricky to remove, leading you to think you'll end up broken if you don't take the time to carefully remove them. It hasn't happened yet, but it's only a matter of time before I crack one. These are NOT "quality" ice cube trays. The positive side of the trays is that they are closed and this prevents your cubes from drying out in an air-cooled freezer. They're cheap and the old adage "you get what you pay for" applies here.
