Don't do it. These are not CANBUS safe lights. They run on simple systems and are very light, but not for anything with complex system circuitry controlling multiple functions like reverse lights/backup lights/camera/transmission/transfer case electrical integration. I installed them in the reversing lights and the trunk light. The trunk light still works, the reversing lights worked for three days. Blown passenger tail light, ordered new set, fitted new bulb, ran 5 minutes then blew both headlights, blew my backup fuse under dash, 4 Lo kept flashing, Check Engine light came on, traction control turned on, lost my backup camera -Appearance, lost the manual Sport Shift function on the gearbox and the Sport Shift gear indicator on the dashboard. While waiting, I unplugged the battery leads for 15 minutes, switched to factory halogens, and then touched the positive and negative leads. together for 10 seconds to clear the computer's memory before reconnecting the battery cables. He then replaced the blown fuse with a 10A fuse and started the truck. Everything has returned to normal. If I hadn't known what I was doing it would have been a lot of wasted time and money trying to find the fault in the shop (God forbid you send it to a Toyota dealer who will no doubt spend hours stumbling and fumbling around (for the price of $120 an hour), replacing expensive perfectly working transmission sensors and never finding and repairing a $1.00 fuse and erasing the bug code caused by that junk.
