My husband is a professional chef and when we needed a utility knife for our RV he advised me to buy this. This is a wonderful knife. It is well designed with excellent balance and a comfortable forged grip. It's sharp and cuts well - its size is perfect for a utility knife. We've had it for a while and it's been kept in a closed RV that gets hot and humid and still looks and works like new. Hard to believe that this knife was so cheap. It will be a good gift!
