My computer set up is in the basement. If you are wanting to heat a small space or keep yourself warm while you are doing something in the basement this heater works great. Its kick-out switch on the bottom works great. On high heat, if you have it close by I recommend the oscillating function. It rotates almost 90 degrees. It's quiet, and from its hottest point cools off in 25 seconds. I will have this under my desk while gaming for some time to come. The lights even shut off when it is running so that you are not bothered by the light at night.
