So I bought this to help with the hardened grout we have in our bathrooms. I liked the idea of using steam instead of harsh chemicals to help clean, with the added benefit of minimal cleaning. I'm pregnant at 30W and the idea of cleaning it is unappealing to say the least. So I bought it hoping it would save me a lot of energy when cleaning my bathroom. The fact that it could be used for things like killing bed bugs sets it apart from the more well-known brands of big-brand vapers. My husband tried it and it works well. really helps with old stains. We think it might take a few passes to really get the job done. We had to fill the tank about 4 times to make the shower stall which is quite a lot as they tell you to wait 15 minutes between each fill. But on the other hand his bathroom needed a general overhaul so I think with regular maintenance we could reduce that to 2 refills. And since this is the only handheld steam cleaner we've had, I don't know if that's typical. With all that has been said, I really have only one comment. The thing is LOUD. We have floor steamers that are not as loud, but not as powerful either. My husband was cleaning his shower stall and after a few minutes his ears were ringing. The sound is really intense and he eventually resorted to earplugs when cleaning up. Of course, his toilet cubicle is not very big, so the sound will reverberate, but still. Be warned it's noisy! Given the intensity of the noise, I can't use it because I'm pregnant (very loud noise affects the baby in the womb), so I can't use it until after the baby is born. Which is sad because I love using it!
