Review on Women'S Slouchy Flat Knee High Boots Wide Calf Pull On Fall Winter Motorcycle Booties by Brandon Harding

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Slightly disappointed in quality. Just barely wide enough on plus sized. Read measurements.

I’m slightly disappointed in the quality and the fit as far as width of calf and foot.I’m a US XL-XXL (16-18) and a 9.5 shoe. The 10 just barely fit me around the calf. I’m used to buying wide calf in order to have knee high boots that I can get on- just note that there’s no stretch panel to these- so pay attention to the measurements if tall boots are sometimes an issue for you, as there’s no stretch to them- they are a fixed width. The fit is also a "just fits” look on a plus sized woman with the top being totally filled up with leg- and not an oversized wide and slouchy look like the model photos will have (see my pics).Mine are actually so snug that I heard and felt a stitch pop when I pulled them on. The boots aren’t unraveling or anything, so I think they are ok (?), but not a good sign as far as durability and quality if there are stitches are popping when you pull them on within the first few wears. The top is also folding in a strange place (not on the seam, but rolled in a strange place). The width is slightly narrow for me- I can only wear thin to regular socks, not boot socks or thick fuzzy socks due to the width. The toe has a slight amount of room for somebody wearing a 1/2 size up, so I think the length of the bottom is true to size. The material doesn’t breathe too good. I found my leggings and feet to be a little sweaty after a few hours wearing these. It felt good to peel them off at home. They weren’t so comfy that I really wanted to wear them in the house after getting home. The sole is super thin and there’s no treads. So they aren’t super great for actual snowstorms, icy conditions and snowy and icy walkways, or any real inclement winter weather. These are more suitable for a crisp fall day sort of weather.I like that they are flat. They are more practical for everyday use- especially if running after kids and doing errands, etc.I don’t think the look is particularly flattering on the leg and ankle- but I do think it’s trendy and the overall look is nice.Overall I don’t think I’d recommend them.

Pros
  • Boots
Cons
  • Heavy and bulky, weighing down the legs and making walking uncomfortable.
