It was easy to plug in my daughter's Kindle after reading the brochure to determine which button was the power button. She sounds great with headphones and I love that. That's the limit of how loud they sound, so I'm not worried about their hearing in the future. The design wasn't my favorite as I liked the little kitty like the glowing ears more on the other model they sell but my daughter liked the pegasus wings and as they are hers her opinion matters more! I like that they are light.
