Not for big chicks

This and the bucket worked well when our chicks were young (about 4-6 months old) but they quickly outgrew them. When we tried to bring the young chicks to our older chicks, this nest and bucket could not be used by the larger chicks. Our larger chickens are Americanons and Americanons X Welsummers. We currently have two Delawares that are too big to fit in a bucket. Another problem I have is the ventilation in the bucket. If you have small chickens, such as B. Bunty chickens or smaller varieties, this can be a good solution.
