Super comfortable and very stylish. It's been a while since I've bought a pair of VANS, and I've had my eye on black/charcoal plaid slip-ons for a while. I'm sorry I didn't wait that long. My favorite pair of shoes! A bit stiff at first, which is normal for canvas, but becomes unusable very quickly. My feet are wide in the front and narrow in the heels, so it's difficult for me to find shoes that don't pinch the toes together (possibly causing permanent nerve damage) and don't slip off the heels and cause blisters and abrasions. The toes of these shoes are wide enough to accommodate my wider forefoot. They also have a soft heel that fits me perfectly: no more slipping ---> no more calluses/grazes = happy feet! I am very happy and satisfied with this purchase.
