Review on 🔌 TecMate TM-341DUAL OptiMate 4DUAL 1 Amp Weatherproof Desulfator Charger/Maintainer by Andrew Kay

I bought this to rejuvenate and maintain the extra battery by bypassing the built in charger which is not that difficult. The backpack charger damages batteries. This thing saves her! It runs diagnostics, follows the appropriate flowchart, performs various complex charging protocols and then enters a very complex service mode, everything is fully automatic, keeping you informed at every step. And importantly, the end result is a better charge and a restored battery. Just to see what it can do I hooked it up to a battery I gave up a year ago. Since then it has been completely abandoned and awaiting renovation. OptiMate 4 spent about six hours restoring health. bottom line? It holds 12.86 volts. Not a full recovery but still impressive considering I thought the battery died. The $67.50 Buck Rogers charger is as impressive as any electronic device I've ever owned. Amazing design work by a true genius. Update 9/24/2019: Six years later and I use this thing all the time. It still works like new.
