This is my second sling of this type. I have the same one in brown that I bought 9 months ago. Scores high for a dress/work belt. Very nice smooth leather and clean professional nickel plated buckle. It starts to develop wrinkles where you attach it, but I think it happens with any skin. It's fairly stiff, but still sags a bit when using a heavy weapon. I have a pair of Galco holsters for my 1911 and a pair of IWB holsters for my more compact handguns. This sling works great as an IWB holster sling, but may lack stiffness if you intend to use it on external strap holstered models or larger/heavier pistols like the 1911. As many other reviewers have pointed out, this sling should be ordered two sizes larger. My waist is 41 inches. I ordered my brown galco belt in 46" and it was perfect. I accidentally ordered the black one in size 44 and I'm on the penultimate hole. The problem that makes it seem short is that there is only a very small tab left after the last hole. Even when you're halfway to the holes, very little of the strap comes out of the buckle and it usually doesn't want to reach. the first loop for the belt of most pants. If Galco was able to read the customer's info, make the end of the strap about 2-3 inches longer! - then that would be perfect.
