When I bought my car it had a wheel cover that I liked and it worked great in the Phoenix heat but ended up having to be replaced. It was as close to what I could find as it is the same color, design, pattern, etc. However, I'm a bit disappointed that this one doesn't fare as well in terms of temperature, the surface temp gets pretty high hot. . In addition, it is otherwise very comfortable for the hands and has different profiles to be able to use it in different positions. Mine smelled quite strongly of chemicals when I received it, but that went away after a few weeks. UPDATE: Now that I've had it all summer, I felt I should report on its performance. Interestingly, the cover slowly evolved over time to look and function exactly like my previous cover. The rubber looks a bit smoother (because of sebum + heat I'm guessing) and it actually either doesn't store heat or otherwise transmit it. I can hold it without burning myself even after sitting in the sun. If I could I would raise my rating to 4.5 stars. The purchase is very satisfied.
