Monitor not recognized by Dell Tower computer - Acer Drivers webpage unavailable - No driver updates available

I have set up dual monitors and the new Acer I bought is intermittently not being recognized by my PC despite trying to use display options/settings/multiple monitors. I ran countless diagnostics on the PC but then searched and found for Acer monitor issues. It is recommended to check and update the drivers. But I can't do it with my PC's system tools if it can't see/detect the monitor even after a reboot. I can't even start the Intel Graphics Control Panel and other driver support/status/diagnostics when the monitor intermittently fails to be detected. As this sometimes works, make sure all cables are properly connected. Only the screen is dark. Turns on, displays the Acer logo, then nothing. There is not even a message that "no input". This happens after the computer goes to sleep. But sometimes restarting doesn't solve the problem. I can't tell what fixes the problem, but none of the display options do. In the photo you can see my working Acer monitor on the left and a newer Acer monitor on the right - switched on, screen almost black. So on the Acer product support site for my model, the drivers page is "not available" said the tech support rep (who connected quickly - didn't wait long. Thanks for that). He had to forward my request as there are no drivers and no Acer diagnostic tool. (There is a page with previous 2016 drivers for Windows 8, but I'm using Win 10.) So, I wait a long time, then my ringtone hangs up. I don't know what to do next. It was easy to write a warning here. I cannot recommend this monitor.
